Malacca revisited...

Date: 1st March 2008
Traveller: Airene . Huijiao . Liting . Liyi . Steph . Kelly
Destination :Malacca

... A couple of us wanted a break really badly... working too hard, bracing up for hectic days ahead, feeling tired ... Hence, we set off for Malacca. Even though it was a short break of 2D1N, we had a good time walking around, eating, laughing, chatting... and more eating! This was my 3rd visit to Malacca. Surprisingly, I do not bored at all and would still go back again! There is this charm about Malacca which I can't even explain. The low lying shophouses from the Dutch colony period, the slower pace of everyday life, simplicity of food which tastes heavenly, the artistic residents of the old town... the list goes on. One might be really surprise how such a small old town has all these to offer.

As this was the weekend before Airene's birthday, we had a really small celebration at Geographer Cafe. We presented a not-so-well sang b-day song & a little cake for her! The surprise wasn't very well pulled off either because the waitress came to us with the cake with an unlit candle!! But still hope Airene enjoyed herself =)
Anyway, here is a mini montage of what the trip was like! I don't really have a full record of everything we do... so yah... mini montage.
I enjoyed myself and hoped u gals enjoy too!
