Recently... at work

Recently, I have been rather busy. My work is piling up, but I think there should be solutions to everything I need to do on my desk. The only thing is how long I will take to settle them. The past 1-2 weeks at work had been busy, and had not much time to think twice before taking any steps forward. Perhaps that might be a good thing too. Sometimes thinking too much might be an obstacle to moving forward and making progress.

But as a born-thinker (or rather born-worrier) I start to think a lot the moment I slow down. Fortunately, this time round, the thinking process helps me to see clearer of what I might want to do in the near future.

Besides work piling up, I had been receiving angry calls from client and engineers, who would just start shouting in the phone venting their anger the moment I said hello.

Recently ... at leisure

Well, on a lighter note, I found some new interest / hobbies recently. I enjoyed all of these tremendouly and lots of joy doing them.

Firstly, a gym membership has driven me to exercise 3 times a week so far. Besides working out on the machines, I enjoyed my first yoga class and pilates class. After the class, I always feel very at ease with everything. I must say I enjoy fitness and being active. Besides keeping fit, I now have more regular sleeping hours, better appetite, sleep well, and drinking more water.

Secondly, I finally get my hands to work creatively and artistically again. Although I miss the painting classes I had years back, I decided to just try something different this time. Buddy and I are back doing ceramic arts. Actually, we had intended to sign up for basic pottery class. However, due to the lack of explanation on the PA's website, we signed up for a more advance pottery class! We had to learn throwing, which I believe to be a more advance ceramic art level. Well, we struggled during our 2 hours there last week. Let's see if we can manage it better this week. We might even struggled more today... haha! Even though it is difficult, it would help to make one a more patient person. It is like an art for the soul... which again, I enjoy.
